Spark Plug Recommendations

I have the 2015 V6.

In the past, I have typically just gone down to the parts store and bought a decent spark plug when replacing plugs. Typically not the cheapest, but not the gold tipped, platinum plated, uranium enriched version they offerred.

Any recommendations for a middle of the road, or decent quality plug for modern engines?

This is the earlier V6 version, as opposed to the latest version in the 2017-2020 models.

Stick with OEM plugs, no need to get fancy. Most gas vehicles I've owned have had NGK as OEM, not sure who the OEM for the ACDelco plugs is but that's what I'd use.

I've never had problems sticking with OEM plugs, all the frustration and "horror stories" have been from people that strayed from OEM to try something "better."

But what would a diesel fan know about spark plugs? ?

I tend to agree, especially since the OEM seem to have done fine. Of course, I haven't pulled the old ones yet.

AC Delco or NGK equivalent.

AC Delco, all the way. Why change brands when they have done well for many years?

My 2001 Taco from the factory had NGK on one side and Denso on the other, really

I looked it up at the time and they had both as suppliers and that is how they did it for a while.

Toyota normally uses Nippondenso Plugs.

Thanks to all, sounds like OEM is a safe way to go.
