You should let someone know as I just found this Service Bulletin PIT6098B and it appears the DO NOT have a clue of how to fix the problem.
my charger works fine with my i-phone in a defender case,

if your i-phone is not is have you tried to put a 1/4-1/2 inch spacer in the back? Fixes most of them

It is not the IPhone as I just bought a new one thinking it would solve the problem and did not. I did find this Service Bulletin that says they do NOT know what the solution is but are working on itl Search service bulletin "PIT6098B"
Definitely not the phone since it works fine in my Mustang. It’s the terrible wireless charger Chevy uses

does anyone else have issues with the wireless charging pad? I have an iphone 15 pro and even with no case, it tells me it cant charge and to check for metal objects. It worked yesterday for a few minutes and then stopped. There are no metal objects on the pad. The truck is less than a week old. Is this something I just have to deal with or should I ask the dealer to take a look at it?
I have a I phone 16 with case. I have noticed that it seems to only charge the phone if it facing a certain way. If it doesn't charge, I just rotate it the other way and it works. I have another mag mount that I usally use as I can see the phone and access the screen if I need to.

my charging pad has a diagram as to which direction to set the phone

I just went out and looked. Their is a diagram but it is saying no metal items on pad with phone. Even then this diagram is not very big and at a angle away from you, and you would definitely have to take your eyes off of the road to long for it to be safe!!!

I put it there right before I connect my seat belt and push the garage door button.
since you looked at it, you will never have to look again.

Yea I will as I rarely use it. And as I am driving I am not going to examine which way the phone is facing!!!
