I just put these strut/shocks on this weekend and it gave me a 4" lift in the front. I just got off the phone with RC and confirmed correct part numbers and they didn't have an answer on why it would give me that much lift. I can't imagine it would settle 2 inches. Has anybody else had this issue?

May be a dumb question but have you driven it? If not do some aggressive driving, cornering, hop a wheel of a curb or something. I recently lifted my truck another inch and it was looking like it lifted 3” initially even after I drove it around the block. Had to go on a further drive and when I got back it had settled to the 1” of lift that I expected.

Yes, i only replaced the struts in the front

I've probably put about 20 miles on it, ill try some more aggressive driving.

I did read a review from someone with the same issue with a f150 rc loaded strut. rc told him that his truck probably sagged 2" before install, but he wasn't convinced.

I have a couple more days before I can get a full refund, if it doesn't settle by then I'm going to take them off and return it.

My guess is that somehow the wrong part number got put on the wrong part. Looks like they are actually 4” lift struts but have 2” strut part number. I have the 6” struts and they lifted 6”.
I was thinking the same. I'm going to give them a call today to see if they will send me another set. I just don't want to keeping swapping out struts in this texas heat.

thanks for the replies.
