well as the title says...lets see how everyone mounts auxiliary switches in there truck.
How hard is that to mount/run the wire through?^ Using that same mount but with a aux beam 8 switch panel. View attachment 449151
That's amazing! I used an L bracket in about the same location. Did you share that file anywhere, or can I get it? I would love to print one.I modeled and printed a whole new bezel with a teardrop on that side for the Midland mic mount.
I have a few versions of it on the Shapeways marketplace (with/without mic mount, Ford upfitter switches, blank for custom switches, etc.). They have a lot of thin, intermittent features on the back side that do not lend well to extrusion printing, so I found SLS printing to be a much higher quality part albeit more expensive. You can view and rotate the models on Shapeways as well. That's amazing! I used an L bracket in about the same location. Did you share that file anywhere, or can I get it? I would love to print one.
You just have to open thhat side panel which his pretty easy and running the wire through was pretty smooth. How hard is that to mount/run the wire through?
How difficult was that to install? Any major drilling? I am looking at that switch box and am having trouble deciding between mounting it there or near the A-pillarMy simple 6 gang setup using Auxbeam controller

No major drilling, interior wires were ran through existing grommet near the steering column then sealed back with black RTV sealant. For the interior switch, I drilled a hole in the back plastic. There is a support beam dead center so the hole has to be offset. But it was plastic and easy to drill. Very easy install in my opinion. How difficult was that to install? Any major drilling? I noticed the Shapeways listing for your model has been taken down, and I was wondering if there’s any way you could post the file somewhere else so I can pay for and download it? I’ve been looking for a solution like this, and it would be a huge help!I have a few versions of it on the Shapeways marketplace (with/without mic mount, Ford upfitter switches, blank for custom switches, etc.). Where did you find the mounting panel for the switches? Was it difficult to mount?
would like to see these "rear bumper LED's" you speak of.View attachment 483455 Thats where I mounted mine. First 2 switches are for the 4 round lights on the roll bar ( 2 lights per switch ) Middle 2 are not used at this time. The 5th one is lights under roll bar facing rearward and last switch is for the rear bumper LED's. Took a little while to do but it is a clean install.
These are off of a 2019 Silverado 2500. part number 84347199.Where did u get those switches love the idea
