I've used the 5 Minute Restorer kit on my Maxima and it worked great.

I'm not sure about the stock lights for these trucks but the aftermarket lights I had on my truck had a clear coat on them that checked and flaked after I polished them.

I used a 3M kit on my daughter's '03 Cavalier. Her car was originally a rental car out of AZ. The headlights were yellowed badly, you couldn't see the bulbs. Used the kit according to the instructions and her headlights seem much brighter, and the plastic is much like her brother's '04 Cavalier. I was impressed by the kit, but you have to be patient and take your time.

I've always used the Plast-x stuff with great results. However, it doesn't do crap on my canyon's headlights for some reason.

i used the 3m kit from autozone on my old car's headlights and i have to say it clear the yellowness and left them looking like brand new headlights i was able to see better at night and further as well thanks to the kit since then i've used that kit on all my vehicles that need a headlight restoration.

i use these at work they do take time but i would get one off the shelf. i have used the turtle wax and the meguiars ones. they both work great. to clean my headlights on my canyon it took me maybe an hour just because im a nitpick about it. took me maybe 15 20 minutes on my moms honda. they both came out great. its just a very detailed process.

one note!!!!! very important. wash your vehicle before hand DO NOT get it wet after you have cleaned the headlights. let it sit for 24hrs. if its gonna rain dont do it. it will wash off all your hard work and they will be back to the way the were.
