Really great all terrain tire. In my opinion it's an in between tire, very aggressive all terrain / mild mud tire.

Bought my 265/60/18 from discounttiredirect.com for $580 shipped to my door.

I did a lot of research and reviews before finally making a choice. Every review from Amazon.com or Trucktrend.com or Off-Road.com or fourwheeler.com had nothing by great things to say about them.

-55k mile warranty
-Mountain/Snowflake rated
-Excellent price $125-175 per tire
-Aggressive sidewall and tread pattern
-Quiet, no humming

I'll keep you guys updated as they wear down. But great so far!

Those look pretty nice. With my Duratracs although I love the tread pattern (especially off road and in the snow)and sidewall I think my next set will definitely be a more road oriented rubber. My mpg definitely took a little hit (maybe 1-2 L/100km).

Yup, Duratracs were my first choice as well but I've heard that they're hard to balance or keep balanced. Although they are suppose to be an overall great tire, gas mileage does suffer a little due to the aggressive tread.

Was looking at the Cooper Discover AT3s. May reconsider now.

Thanks for taking your time to post up your thoughts on the Falken A/T3W tires.

We look forward to your updates.

Thanks for your support.
No problem, you guys had the best price around and shipping was free and fast!

So worth it. I couldn't be happier! Look more aggressive than some mud tires I've seen around my area. Took them on a couple trails and the gripped great.

Those look really great. I'd love to have a set.
dang, i shoulda got those!oh well next time around. great looking tires, ride is still good?oh well next time around
Definitely get them next time around ????.

Quick update, they that have about 3k miles on them and still look brand new like they should lol. Drove the truck to Boston with the family and like I said before they tires were very quiet even at 70+ mph which nice with a new born on a 3hr trip.

Also added a 4.5x12" Spectre muffler bolt on tip last week.

I had a set of duratrac on my Silverado, got 45,000 miles out of them and never rotated them. I had the e rated version if that matters, I like the look of these tires you posted. I'll keep them in mind when my factory tires wear out.

I just ordered a set of these for when I level my truck. It was between these and the new BFG KO2's, and I wasn't really too impressed with paying 2x as much for the BFGs; not to mention the BFGs don't have any mileage warranty. Tread patterns are similar, too. So it was a no-brainer for me.

I came from KO2 on my truck to the Falken ATW3 and would not ever consider going back. The truck rides much smoother, much quieter, and no noticeable difference offroad. Win win win. And at a much cheaper price! They also look great compared to the ATW2. I went with 285/70/17.

For those of you running this tire, what pressure do you have them at? I just had these put on yesterday and when I left the shop they have them at 40psi. Seems kinda high to me. Maybe it's just me not used to this type of tire but it seems like the truck wants to wonder a little. Its amazing how much these tires change the driving characteristics of the truck.

It mostly depends on the tire rating. For my E rated tires, im running them at around 40psi. I know people recommend even up to 45 for E but they ride really nice! Great choice. I am now around 10K miles on mine with no obvious wear. I've put mine through around 200 miles of tough offroading so far.

I love these tires and was absolutely giddy when I saw them on my truck for the first time. So far have had them for about three weeks but have started to notice a drop in MPG. I generally hit 19-22 driving to home and work on the interstate but lately after I got the tires I've been hitting 16-17. Maybe its just coincidental with the cold weather (15-30 degrees) and having the heat running all the time...Anyone else having issues?

Well, i can assure you're mpg will drop some having an offroad tire vs a street tire. They have thicker sidewalls and just heavier duty in general. I'm sure it's a combination of both.

Thanks! It's an Autospring 2.5" front spacer lift and 1" rear blocks... (soon fox, icon ,or Baja kits..haven't decided) I have 1.25" bora spacers on the wheels... and I did very minor trimming of plastic stuff... every once in a while I hear a faint rub on the inner fender liners and it's a spot where it hangs kinda loose and really is harmless. I can get a little more clearance but haven't really messed with it. The tire size is perfect in my opinion and don't weight nearly as much as the 33s I had on my fj cruiser... I'm not off road a lot but I travel and camp and love being able to carry stuff without worries. I have a build thread that shows the trimming I did..

I just want to shout out with gratitude to all those who have posted with their opinions on different lifts and tires, ultimately leading me to where my truck is now: perfect! Three weeks ago, with the help of a friend, I installed the Autosprings 2.5" Level & 1.5" AAL with differential drop kit. It was a really straight forward install and the instructions were pretty clear for the most part. The kit really changed the feel of the truck and now it drives like a truck should- stiffer in the rear while the front eats bumps on the beach like nothing. The kit also allowed me to clear larger tires, which I was almost ready for anyway after 43,500 miles on the Goodyear Wranglers that came stock with the Z71. Those tires are great- never a problem, but I wanted a more aggressive look and feel for the beach for the next set of tires. After hearing nothing but positive reviews on the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's, I pulled the trigger on cyber Monday and bought four of the LT265/70/17's from discount tires direct $660 shipped with $75 rebate. Yesterday they were mounted and given their first test run at the beach, which they passed with flying colors! No need to air down and had constant traction. My truck if officially complete... for now! Thanks again for all who have shared.

@Dmax16 @MaineCoastCustoms @Echo1 @Goodwind90 - I'm guessing you all have had some time on snow with the AT3W's, how are they? Obviously they're not Blizzaks, but how do they compare to other AT tires you've had in the past? About to order tires for mine; if these are as good or better than other AT's, I'm all in. Thanks.

I have these in 265/70r17s and as far as I am concerned KO2s will never go on another vehicle I own again (had KO2s on my beater ranger and they wore like they were made from butter)...the Falkens are cheaper, quieter, 55k mileage warranty, look just as good, and perform well in the dirt.

Looks good, question, with this set up do you happen to have any rubbing? Also any leveling kit or suspension lift?
