Hi.. first time posting. I have read a lot on this forum and learned a good bit. Thanks!
However, I have I problem I need help with. I have searched, but haven't found an answer.
My Colorado starts fine, but as soon as I release the key from the start position it goes dead. I can hold it in the start position for however long I want too and all is good. But as soon as I release it... it goes dead. I am not sure what the cause is... seems like possibly a bad connection in the ignition, but I am not sure. Maybe a bad relay that the ignition talks too? I just don't know and would love to hear from someone that has encountered or fixed this issue.
I have had the intermittent security issue a while back, but swapping keys seemed fix that intermittent problem.
I do not know what the current problem is... and I can't drive around with my hand holding the key in the 'start' position.
Oh, my truck is an '07 2WD Crew Cab with the 5 cylinder.
Thanks,
chad
