Lamin-X? Thinking of doing same on my Canyon AT4.
sorry about the delay Scott. Yeah, the fog lights tint is from Lamin-X. They show for the 23 and 24 Colorado’s, but had to trim a lot off, to fit the ZR2 fogs.

Finally got around to doing some of the little stuff that I’ve been putting off.

After seeing others wrapping the piano black center console, I ordered some satin gray film. Once it came in, didn’t like the look. Ended up deciding to scuff it up and spray with some Matte Clear Coat. Wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but very happy with it.

Next up was dealing with the flo-tie and skid plate. Had planned on painting the skid plate with some Herculiner.

After going back and forth, I decided against the black, and went with some Dark Shadow Gray paint, same color I did my Camaro’s flo-tie a few years back.

This keeps the contrast between the skid plate, and the rest of the black trim. Still has the same effect as stock, but toned down a bit.

How hard was it to take off?

Very easy. Just lift up the rubber phone pad a couple inches, then grab the top of the plastic panel and pull straight up. It just pops off.

Here's a pic to show where the clips pop in.

Installed some EGR Window Visors and took the fam up to the snow for a couple hours on Easter morning. Headed back home to crush some good food, and take a nappy 👍

Would you be able to post a link to whatever you used for the Matte Clear Coat, because that looks so good and I need to do it now.

I scuffed the surface very lightly with a scotch pad, then wiped it down with some isopropyl alcohol. Sprayed 4-5 light coats of the clear. Good luck 👍
