I should put one in my Mom's truck. I want to test it out! It's hard to believe that anything can make the stock radio sound good.

I kinda want to try it in my truck on the AVIC-D1.
 
The OEM deck will never let you tune to a "flat" curve.

There are three settings -- bass, mid, treb. No combination of adjustment will give you as flat of a curve as a 25 band EQ like in here.
 
Yes but...

The loudness curve varies slightly at the lower end of the volume region.

Only at the highest points does it considerably drop bass.

When this is used in conjunction with an amplifier, it may be found that "full blast" on the stock stereo is no longer needed, either, which would make the "listening range" pretty flat.
