I have a 17 with the small screen 4” I believe. I think it’s called io3 not exactly sure. I’m looking to install an aftermarket radio and just looking to do a straightforward install. What harnesses will I need and where can I order them? My truck is very basic. No steering wheel controls or anything. Only a backup camera which I want to retain. What features will I loose with an aftermarket radio install if any?

Crutchfield.com they make custom wire harness for almost anything. Good prices on aftermarket stereos too.

I second Crutchfield. You can surely find a particular head unit for cheaper in the corners of the internet than Crutchfield will sell you, but they will give you the exact harness and trim accessories needed, plus any special tools necessary. Good customer service as well. I've purchased at least 10 replacement head unit kits from Crutchfield since 1996, and never been unhappy with the result. Good luck.

Crickets...That's a big question. Do understand that all the door chimes and signal tickers all come thru the radio.
Its a tired subject with a lot of threads on it already.
Google is your friend, friend.

Always check the "What I did to my Colorado Today" thread.
Guys like to do complete rite-ups and how-tos with pictures and detailed drawings and all the effort in the world, then dump it in that thread.
All for our benefit, but never to be seen again unless google can find it in there. That's why Google is your friend.

There are double din kits available and wiring kit, many double dins have a video input for backup camera.

Here is a quick search link, if you dig deeper, you could find cheaper.
Appears to have all needed.
