My dealer does... first time they even waxed it.. this time they scratched all of the black paint.. -_- won't be getting a car wash anymore.. probably ill just ask them to clean the inside.

My dealer washes the truck every time I bring it in, even when I went in to pick up the 3rd key I requested. Their waiting area has TV's, free wifi, computers and a huge monitor where you can watch your vehical being serviced. Coffee, tea, water, soda and snacks are also complimentary.
After I saw this thread last night a radio advertisement for a local Lexus Dealer caught my attention...They were telling how they have a Golf simulator & free massages in their service wating area...Nice!

Full release? Ugh, I'm disgusted with myself now, but my car is fixed!

I had the paint of my 2005 Cadillac CTS screwed up by a free dealer car wash I did not authorize them to do. I found out I was not the only one, the young guys they had doing the car washes were careless with the use of clean water, sponges, towels etc. It took a body shop tech about 4 hrs to bring back the finish on my premium tri-coat red paint. The owner of the dealership personally apologized for my problems, they filled my tank and gave me about a 1/2 doz coupons for free touchless car washes not counting fixing the paint finish. They do not hand wash cars anymore.

After reading all the replies, I remembered how pissed I was when I brought my last new black car in for an oil change. I told them specifically not to wash it and they ran it through their machine car wash.

I haven't brought my black canyon through a mechanical car wash yet. I guess it was a blessing in disguise that they didn't touch it. Only hand washing until winter.

They always wash it after the service. If I stop by for info about something and my salesman spots me he always wants to wash the truck. He even washed my old Trailblazer when I came in just for a brochure. Had it washed while we were test driving the Canyon. I'd rather they not wash it, it's just a couple kids doing it.
They have a coffee bar, I get free coffee from the girls just by giving them his business card. I keep a few in my wallet so I don't have to go by him and get my truck washed.
I live on a dirt road, that I get to thru another dirt road and have a dirt driveway. If you're OCD about a clean truck don't move onto my street.

I brought my truck in for an oil change and recall. My wife commented when she dropped me off that the dealership didn't wash the truck. I didn't buy the truck from them.

Does your dealership normally wash your truck?
You can actually start a real poll where everyone can vote and have a running tally without reading multiple pages of the thread.

I'm with you. No one washes my vehicles but me, by hand absolutely no automatic car washes.

First comment after good morning from service advisor when taking vehicles in for service is no wash and they place a sign on the dashboard.

Sorry, I'm picky and get some enjoyment/relaxation from washing my own vehicles. Even though the garage "hand washes", they do not meet my standards!
