I am getting ready to pull the trigger on changing out my bulbs in my 2022 z71. I don't have the money to buy a complete set and honestly not sure I want to replace all right now anyway. My thought is, low beams and backup lights to start with. If I like them then I will go with the brake lights, cargo light and maybe high beams. I just want to make sure there won't be any issues with the computer and getting any codes when I change them out. Here is what I am planning on ordering:

Does anybody have any issues with these or any good or bad to add? I know there are a ton of posts about these, but I want to make sure I get the right bulbs and they don't create any issues.

Thanks in advance.

I looked at the DD's but man they are costly. My kid has a supped up Subaru and he was saying that the DD's are top shelf, so maybe when I recover a bit from the tax bill I just got hit with I will give them a go. Gonna be tough to get a 200 dollar pair of lights past the accountant (wife), but maybe it will be a beg for forgiveness instead of ask for permission deal. LOL

OK, so I went thru and got to the shipping part. You have to be kidding me. I am spending 200 bucks on lights and they cannot give me free shipping? Wow.

Well, I bought the low beams and the backup lights from Lasfit, so we will see. I am hoping that the dust covers will fit without having to do any mods as my wife will kill me if I have to deal with that. LOL. Either way, I am going to give it a go. Seems to passenger side is going to be a bit of a challenge so I might end up looking to the pro's for assistance.

So, here is a question for all. If I am thinking of comparing would it be ok to put one in of the lights in and check it against the regular bulb for the difference in brightness? Or will that screw up the computer or whatever keeps track of that stuff?

Finally got to putting them in. Damn, easy install, but only if you try and put them in the right spot. LOL. I was trying to put the low beams into the high beam spot and was pissed until I realized why they didn't fit. LOL. Literally a 20 minute job and that is with struggling to get the dust caps back on. Now, when I go out tonight we will see how much better they are in the dark.
