Kumho tires all the way!!! KOREANs make nice tire

now, is that from your stock tires or are you saying that because you know from experience purchasing other tires...the General AT2's have a 60k mile warranty, as well as multiple good reviews from most of the people who've bought them pretty much paralleled to the Khumo's...the biggest difference i can find is that Khumo doesn't offer any kind of mileage warranty...

No I never buy General or Khumo. I buy Nitto and Toyos mostly, I have had a few of my customers go back and buy General tires after there existing tire has been used up.

Most of them have complained and did not like the tire it wore down fast had knots alot of people in this area have trouble with them because of the rocks.

If a tire can't handle a few rocks. That's a shame.

I have no complaints with the Generals I had on my truck, got around 55K out of them without ever rotating them, and never had any traction issues with them.

Kuhmo, on the other hand, well, my Fiero hasn't been running enough to me to accurately evaluate those tires :?

 

My Generals already have little chunks out of it, and they only have 4800 miles on them. and while I'm at it, why does the Z71 offroad come with those lame excuse for an offroad tires?

well, if you vote for neither, then how about a suggestion?...remember i'm 24 years old and have 4 kids my cashflow is VERY limited....so anything over 100 a tire is WAY out of the question...

I have General Grabber At-2's.They are 255-70-15 and I love them.I drove the truck in the snow (1-3") a few times this winter and had zero problems.They don't make hardly any noise on the road and they handle better than the stock ones did (z85).


they ONLY complaint I have is @35p.s.i. when it's colder than say 25degreesF they tend to flat spot and it takes a few miles for them to warm up and then it goes away.I didn't have the problem with them @ 40pds.

 

Im like you eddiejoe wanting a good reason to not accept the General AT2s but kNOCKrETARD experience with flat spotting would be enough of a reason for me to avoid them. If you have to overinflate tires to get them to work properly that isnt good.

not all true the generals i have on my 20's are great they ride nice and they stick to the road like glue cant complain for 118 dollars a piece..

apparenlty you don't read too well..i'm on a limited budget...so unless you can get me some "real" tires for less than 90 per tire..then quit bein a shmuck and say something constructive

now i have a question...yeah the door the truck says 35 or whatever but the tire itself says 45 then you fill it to 45 correct.????...filling to 35 seems to me like asking a guy who works at burgerking how to make a bigmac...i'm not sure on the theory behind this..someone shed a little light on it please...??...

 

save your money and buy them one at a time , when you have 4 mount them, both brands that you have listed are complete junk. go to sams club and look at the sigma line of tires(they are reasonably priced), mine are going on 40000 miles and are showing little wear and get great traction as well.

 

The psi marking on the tire is the maximum pressure it can safely hold. Follow the recommended pressure for the vehicle - 35psi in your case.
