Does this version update show in your About section of your infotainment system? I took mine in yesterday for this update and the system is still rebooting. And when I go in my About section, it is still showing v807. So, I am concerned the dealership didn’t do the correct update. Just curious what your truck shows. When I asked the dealer they got defensive and said they did the right one, but I don’t have the warm and fuzzies about their response.
Brought my 22 in a month ago for update. Radio still doing the same as yours. history shows the update not done. shows version 808.1 which the truck came with. Should be version 809.2. Just dropped it off again for the update. Didn't want to accuse them of the update not getting done the first time but I did tell them I've done lots of research on this and the newest version should show up in the history. Their reply was "Ok sir, we'll look into it". Hoping it's done right today.

Update on yesterdays dealer visit. Dealer said radio won't let them update because its was done last visit. I pointed out that it still shows version 808.1. They insisted it was done. They tested it and couldn't duplicate my issues. Good thing is that they saw in the history of the ECM the last failure of the radio. Not sure if they're telling the truth though. Didn't know they can find that info. Dealer told me if it happens again they just replace the radio. I don't think they know how to fix these radios. I've got another 18 months on the 3/36 warranty so hoping its figured out before that.

Does it show the Updated Version now?
Might of been the Tech at the Dealer never did the update.
Or, the Tech did the update and it did not take
Updated version doesn’t show. Still shows version 808.1 which the truck came with. Dealer insists they updated it. Don’t know what else to do except wait for it to happen again and the dealer said they’ll replace the radio because they’re too stupid to fix the existing one.

Also.., my friend has a 21 ,mine is a 22. He went to the same dealer for update and same exact issue as me. His is version 808 because it’s a yr older. Might have to find another dealer. This one is real close to home though

Update, radio has rebooted 2 times since the second “update”. About to choke the people at the dealership. Been updated 2 times so far and still says version 808. Idiots have no clue what they’re doing. I’m bringing it back and they told me they’ll replace the radio if the problem persists. Wonder if the new radio will have the correct software in it. So done. Love the truck otherwise

Mine has rebooted without CarPlay on. Nothing plugged into the usb. It’s amazing how we have research this problem ourselves for a $45.000 truck. GM knows exactly with the problem is but won’t admit it because it’s not a safety issue. It’ll cost them money if they do.
