I'll be going with 275/70/17 ko2 tires. No spacers
would installing the longer swaybar end links help with the rubbing? or would the relocation brackets be needed as well?

I ask this because I will be doing my 2.5 autosprings lift with rear add a leafs and the 1.25 RC bodylift to my truck in the up coming weeks. ( had a very good month in sales )
That is the exact lift and tire combo I'm looking at. When you get that on could you take some measurements to the fenders front and rear? I'm curious to see if the longer end links solve the rubbing as well. Thanks in advance for being a guinea pig!

I'm curious, for those of you out there that have the Stage-4 kits, what made you choose that over the stage-3 kits. Stage-3 kit owners, why just stage-3?
Here is my take on it:
Stage 1 - solid if you intend to keep it around 2" the UCAs seem to handle the height with no issue on alignment, and travel (so far) continued testing is in order gladly.

Stage 2 - If you intend to go to a higher lift than 2" then the UCAs provide the alignment needed and the travel.

Stage 3- Reserve rears keep the back end suspension cooler, allow for better road contact on ground. Because the fronts are already 2.5 diameters, the rear shocks were the weakest link in stage 2. If you find fading an issue on washboards, rollers or if you rock hard continuously without stops this is a good set-up.

Stage 4 - after the rears have been upgraded to keep up with the fronts, they add reserves to the already over-sized front. Great for when your shocks are seeing continual abuse and tons of articulation without cool-downs.

Stage 5 - same as stage 4 but adds dial ajustability to the firmness of the ride on the shock valving. It allows you to get the feel of the shock juuuuussssst right. Great feature, loved it on my Titan, but once you find the sweet spot, never really changed it after that.

Stage 5 because...dirt. It was a "value for the money" deal for me. Why do only stage 4 for close to the same cost with no way to adjust them? There are other factors, but the real bottom line is because I wanted it.

Do you think the 2.5 spacer will clear the 275/70s
I have 275s on mine and i am only running a 2" suspension lift. So it should be pretty similar to my thread. The body lift allows more upward motion but your main concern would be clearing the sways. Many others are running your config with little to no problems. Worst case sway bar relocaters.

Thanks for the responses on what stages for what. Went out on some forest service roads today and really wished I had adjustability. More rocky than I usually see so a little softer would have been welcome. I think I will do the stage 5 when it comes time.

@TdBart I really dont think you can go wrong either way. They make a good product, all around. Its just personal preference. I had many factors. I have a 3 year old in the truck with me a lot and the freeway hop sucked. I like deserts and flat out. I like fire roads. The adjustability really lets me choose how much I want to feel. I think you'd be happy with any of their kits, honestly. For tire size, from what I've read, its a bit weird. Some people have issues with the same set ups where others have none. I'm running 265/70/17s and I could go bigger. Im not even close to rubbing full turn. You'll just have to try it out and see.

If you don't mind me asking how much did this setup run you total? I like your style a lot! Super functional and that's what I'm about as well.

Which member were you asking?

Uh-oh! Parts are coming!

Cant wait for the sway bar relocation brackets any longer. Gonna go with spacers until brackets can be bought

Are you running a body lift? Which lift?

Going with a similar set-up drew started out with

Auto spring's 2.5" with add-a leaf
Zone 1.5" body lift
Bora 1.25" spacers (very temporary)
275/70/17 bfg ta ko2's

I will eventually get icon 2.5's front and rear, maybe even the upper control arms, but for now just doing the strut spacers until i put a little more wear and tear on the truck.

Ah okay. I was going to say if you didn't, there will be a lot of trimming. (Which I had to do because I neglected to get a body lift)

I will have the fabricator PM you.
I let him know that others can now be bought, it may have turned him off making them.

Will reach back out to him today.

I didnt realize they were on the market now. Got a link?

Also, i got a question for you. With the set up i just posted above, do you think 285's would fit? Im thinking 275's are gonna look small with 4" of lift in the front and 3" in the back. Not that i'll switch if they do. Just curious...

Drew, did the fabricator ever finish this? Can they be ordered? Originally was planning to go with 275/70/17's with the autosprings 2.5 and a body lift. I was now considering an alternative, 255/75/17 equivalent to 32.1" tall by 10" wide. Do you think I would be able to clear those without the body lift or sway bar relocator? I was hoping the 1" narrower tires would give me the clearance I need plus the duratracs in that size are only 40 LBS which is only 2 LBS heavier than stock tires. So I gain the height in clearance without all the added weight.

I had a 2 inch level with those tires (Duratrac 255/75/17) and had slight rubbing. Added a 1 inch body lift and still had (albeit less) rubbing. Note I also added one inch spacers and this removed sway bar rubbing but still had rubbing turning left under compression. Hope that helps. On a side note those tires are great, the stock width is perfect in regards to not changing the street feel of the truck, the extra height of ground clearance is a bonus. No complaints, rubbing is minor and not enough to make me regret the setup
