I ordered these mudflaps after watching Youtube videos. The install videos aren't specifically to the Canyon but show double sided tape and a clear paint protector tape involved. The set of flaps I got have no double sided or paint protective tape in the box or on the flaps. Just some metal clips and instructions (which don't mention tape of any kind). Should they have the tape?

What do the instructions you received for the mudflaps say? If you purchased them for the right vehicle and the part number is correct (meaning they didn't ship the wrong part), I'd be inclined to check the instructions and contact the manufacturer.

Maybe search here for threads where guys put Husky's on their trucks. They might mention if you should have tape.

Are these the ones you bought?

Here is the installation instructions:

Looks like there should be some adhesive, you re-use existing hardware, and there is a clip.

Once you install them, let us know how you like them and post some pics. The ones on the site are very generic images.

I've got a 24 Colorado but I am assuming its the same for the 23 Canyon.

I ended up sending my Husky Liners back. Like you, mine did not have any double sided tape but it did have the paint protector pieces and the metal clip.

The clip is a very poor design. The fender is too thick for the clip to clip on with the thickness of the mud flap included. Just ended up marring the mudflap up trying to force this clip on.

Secondly, you are suppose to reuse the existing fasteners but the middle fastener is not long enough to catch the female threads on the fender when the mudflap thickness is taken into account.

Called them up for a return code and they didn't even ask why I am returning the mud flaps.
