I'd like to use the bed light harness to trip a relay for my load lights. Does anyone know which parts I need in order to make use of the factory plug located by the driver-side rear taillight?

Thanks in advance.

This was just answered in another thread, let’s see if I can find it.

Here you go

First off, I was wrong it is not made by Molex...it is actually a TE Conn which is why I couldn't find it in the Molex MX150 series. Thanks for the curve ball, GM.

Anyways, I took a look at mine and instead of the sealed plug cap it has the actual connector with a pigtail ready to go. This made it much easier for me to find all the parts you will need.

The main part number you need is the plug 1-1823608-5
1-1823608-5 | TE Connectivity
but since that is a GM part number the compatible parts are masked...

For referencing the hardware I would instead use part number 1-1718643-1

You'll need a couple female crimp terminals and wire seals for your wire leads:
Terminals: CAT-M4595-T273 MCON Tab and Receptacle Contacts
Wire Seals: 964972-1 AMP : 964972-1 Automotive Seals & Cavity Plugs | TE Connectivity

If you want to make it quick and easy, this eBay listing (no it is not the AATS connector lol) has the plug and terminals for $11:
You would just need to find the wire seals or dab some silicone into the cavity to keep moisture out.
