Filters--Is OEM Good Enough, or Are There Better Choices?

Thinking about laying in some filters/fluids for performing the first (since my recent ownership) upcoming maintenance on my 2022 Colorado LT, Ext Cab, 3.6L V6. OEM is PF2257G oil, A3195C air, and CF196 cabin air. Is OEM good enough, or are there "better" filters out there, and is the additional price of so-called "premium" filters worth paying over the AC Delco OEM? As for oil, how about Castrol 5W-30 full synthetic? That's what I currently have on the shelf as far as oil. Is Rock Auto a good "go-to" for purchasing the filters? Their pricing seems very attractive. Appreciate any comments/thoughts on the above, just trying to plan ahead a little. Just over 20K on her, at what point (mileage wise) does trans service make sense, and what specific trans fluid should I use?

Oem for oil and engine air. I use aftermarket for the cabin air filter to get a more allergen friendly filter.

I run Wix XP filters for motor oil, cabin filter and engine air filter. Penzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 for oil. (Oil/Filter get changed at 5k) Trans will get the Mobil approved fluid and drop and fill at 40k and every 40k after that. Front and rear diffs get Mobil Delvac without the slip additive. Plenty of information out there on different filters and fluids. Check out Bob is the Oil Guy on Youtube. Lots of stuff on that page.

Thanks all that replied. OEM (AC Delco) for the filters sounds good then. Re the trans fluid, this is the Mobil 1 "BLUE" label stuff, right? I think I better get some Kroil on the exhaust flange studs/nuts, and make sure they are gonna move some before I get too involved with dropping the trans pan and doing a filter/fluid change. OEM for the trans filter as well, right? Is Rock Auto gtg for this kinda stuff?

As an aside, the truck is running real nice, averaging about 24mpg in combined city/freeway driving so far (driven about 1K miles). But I do have a light foot...:) Very lucky to find that Ext Cab model. There are even LESS of that model for sale now around these here parts, and most have considerable mileage on them. GLAD I didn't hesitate to go look when this (now MY) 2022 with only 19K miles on it hit the market (GM Dealer trade-in). Other than learning how to work all the electronic stuff, I'm pretty darn happy with it.(y)

Filters you can use OEM or Equivalent. Whatever you prefer.
5W-30 Full Synthetic is what the Engine Requires.. And yes whatever brand you prefer

Transmission should be Flushed every 50K or Drain and Filled every 25K
But, yours it been used so little. If it was not done it might be something to think about doing.

All Transmission Fluid is Hygroscopic (absorbs water)
The 8 Speed Transmission runs cooler
Which is good for the Transmission but not good since the Transmission does not heat up enough to "burn off" the condensation
And the moisture is the issue with causes the Transmission Shudder
The Fluid to use is:
Mobil 1™ Synthetic LV ATF HP
