All,

I keep finding conflicting information on the internet and was looking for some clarification from ya'll; on the internet.
What I'm finding now for my Z71 is that it is an 18x8.5 wheel. Offset is unknown. The bolt pattern I'm also confused on.
Is it 6x120, or 6x139.7? (6x5.5)

Thanks,

The 6x120 bolt pattern is for the 2nd gen trucks (2015-2022), the 3rd gen (2023-up) are 6x5.5 and match the 1/2-ton trucks.

Funny just had this discussion with another member of a forum that swears the old Colorado and the new one are the same bolt pattern lol. I even showed him a pic of the wheel hub and brake rotor showing the difference in. Lot pattern but he swears he knows people that have installed Silverado wheels on older Colorados for years.

The 1st gen and 3rd gen trucks use the same bolt pattern, it's only the 2nd gen that are 6x120. So, they're not wrong if they're referring to 1st gen as being the older Colorados.

Those aren't the same wheels as the build and price tool shows as being available for the Z71. Similar in some ways, but not the same.

I owned a 2007 Colorado with bling and liked "Her" with those shoes so much? I bought another one. 2018 Colorado with a full z71 package. Wasn't till the papers were signed did I ask that question. Will my rims fit on this? Nope! I would have bought a 2015 used truck. I still have a set of Dark Chrome R20 "Boss Motor Sports" with 265/50 wet tracks. Go cheap and look like a "Cop" SUV? I can't mount the rims by the hub and bolt pattern. I sized this up visually. 2015 and after are 120 mm 66.9 where as the Old Rims are 139.7 mm and 100 mm. They will not fit. I work in a Fab Shop and can weld and CNC to this size but.. Heat does interesting things to metal.
