Today I installed a 2" level kit on my Duramax 4x4. The install was relatively straight forward, I followed the directions that came with the kit, the only thing I did that was not stated was I loosened the sway bar mount on the chassis so I could rotate the sway bar out of the way easier.

I think it look perfect but we will see after the suspension settles a little.

I took some before and after measurements, from center of wheel to top of fender opening;

Before After
LF 20 1/2 23
RF 21 23 1/4
RR 22 1/2 22 1/2
LR 22 22

Here are some pictures.

Thanks for posting. Sure looks like the diesel springs have the stock height in front a little higher compared to the V6.

I just ordered the 2.5 inch front 1.5 inch rear full level/lift kit from them tonight. I have the v6 though. But I was interested to see how they did their spacer cause most companies requre you to cut the studs down on the stock strut. They seem to have thought it out and made those spaces for the studs.

The 2.5" space will not require the studs to be cut, only the 2" space requires them to be cut.
I was very tempted to order the kit you did, but decided to go just with the 2" for now. I really like the way they build their spacers, welded steel and looks very strong.

Well part of the reason I wanted a Diesel is because I wanted to still have reasonable MPG after mods, but I hope this simple change does not have such a drastic change. I will post back my findings after a week or so.
