My Android Auto only works about 70% of the time. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are connected. I have a 2024 Trail Boss. When it doesn't work, it doesn't work no matter what I do.

You can reboot the infotainment screen by holding down the hang-up call button on the steering wheel for like 15 seconds or something like that. Everything else will stay running, but the infotainment screen will go black and then reboot in a few seconds.
I've only had my phone disconnect maybe 3 or 4 times in the 1.5 yrs I've owned the truck. Rebooting the infotainment screen has always solved it.

On your phone, you should only need Bluetooth OR Wi-Fi connected. You shouldn't need both for Android Auto. Also, make sure your phone has all its updates installed.

When I did have AA enabled on my phone, the truck would turn on the wifi on my phone to connect (its normally off) Or it might have been my phone turning it on automatically when it saw my truck via bluetooth. I don't know which controlled what. I don't use AA still, so I disabled the app on my phone to stop it from connecting.
