Alignment woes!?

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Had my Canyon about 13 months now. When I purchased it, the steering wheel was crooked to about the 11:00 angle. Dealership adjusted it. Felt and looked good for a while. After 2nd tire rotaion (nothing else supposedly done) wheel goes back to 11:00, annoying. Yesterday during my rotation the tech threw it on the rack, said it was off. He tweaked it to specs, claims he road tested it and its straight. Driving it today, ...now the other way, about 1:00, and has a slight pull to the left. OMG. They have been good about it, and have not charged me for anything. But seriously, am I expecting too much to have my steering wheel straight on a brand new truck? I am pretty picky, but it drives me nuts. They are offering to try again, but now I feel like the tech is ready to crap in my back seat. Anyone else had alignment issue??

Still no swearing allowed dude.

After decades of suspension setup and alignment experience this is an obvious indication of a bad (cone shaped) tire. It will be very difficult to get the steering wheel straight (even with a proper thrust angle alignment) and it will move in position as the tire is moved onto and off of the front end. It will change the wheel position each time it is rotated. I would borrow a complete set of tires from another new or super low mileage truck and do another alignment. Then it should be possible to determine which one of your original tires is causing the issue by rotating different ones onto the front end and driving the same exact lane and road (same road test) and seeing which tire initiated the pull that causes you to correct with steering input.
Easy to prove by putting your tires on another vehicle that has no problems and a straight steering wheel. Remember to use the same exact road test and be sure pressures are adjusted when the tires are cold.

Bad tire is the ONLY explanation of the change in steering position after just a rotation (assuming proper pressures). It cannot be the suspension as long as no parts are worn. How many miles were on your truck when this started? How many miles are on those tires and what is the specific detailed appearance of the tires. What make, and are they stock sizes on stock wheels? Suspension modifications? Wheel spacers?

I kind of felt this way as well. Everything is stock, and I have been back and forth with it since new. Tires are getting rotated very frequently (so far every 4k miles) and now have 13k on them. Stock AT Goodyear Wrangler adventures. It seems the truck feels completely different after each rotation. Very frustrating. The tires appear to be wearing very normal and even, and I am a freak about keeping them at exactly 35 psi. Good explanation man, I appreciate your chime in on this.

i felt what you did JD, i had my upper balljoint replaced after it started squeaking something fierce. They aligned if after install obviously since they were in the suspension and its dead center now, cant confirm if that was the cause of my alignment woes but its gone away now

I think his suspension was checked and found to be in perfect condition with no play evident. Worn parts on one side will always have the same direction of pull. His moved with the location of a bad tire.

I installed the Zone leveling kit on mine and took it to NTB to get it aligned after (they were the only alignment place near my house). Took them about an hour and a half, drove the truck away and the steering wheel was in the 2:00 area. I took it right back and they made me wait for 2 more alignments to be done before they would check it again. Keep in mind the steering wheel was straight when I bought the truck and even straight after the leveling kit install. They finally got it back on the rack to fix it, drove away and it was in the 1:00 area. Finally took it to a different location the next day and within about 20 mins they had it straight.

That is lack of experience or a cheap alignment rack that may need to be calibrated.
