Advice on repairing or replacing antenna unit?

When I was cleaning my truck bed out preparing to install the camper shell I bought used (which is why those bungee cables were sitting on top of the cab), I noticed at some point in the past few years I must have been a big silly billy and drove under something that took out the attena. Even better, looks like some spiders made a home in the chasis. Is there something I can do to plug this hole without replacing the antenna? Otherwise, is there an easy way to replace the antenna unit without having to remove the camper shell? At the moment I do not have the means to remove the shell.

Going to assume that with that piece missing
You are going to have to replace the whole thing

But, you just need to pull the headliner down to get to the bolt
You could replace with a Shark Fin one though

Looking at it from the other side, if you lost it over the past few years, you listen to other sources than radio or you reception is overly strong. In other words, you don't need an antenna. I would find a suitable plastic cap, put it in and maybe a lite touch of black silicon. You then have one less worry when playing with the camper.
