All,

Since I have the OEM hard lines, CX Racing adapter, and ICT billet adapter, I compared them with my calipers. ICT Billet said they had not confirmed fitment with 6L50, only 6L80 and 6L90.

Results in millimeters:

Very impressed with the ICT Billet adapter. It is beveled, clean, and serialized. The CX racing one is less refined, one piece, massively thick, and the dimensions were more sloppy. I imagine the thickness is a product of the one piece design and necessary for CNC ? Or the tapping of the threads internal with the outlet tubes ? Not sure, but I like the ICT one better. Going to clean both with denatured alcohol, because there is residue/aluminum dust on the CX racing one inside the block, after I removed the AN adapters.

I believe that the thin adapter plate looks like a better design.

I've been really satfisfied with every ICT Billet part I've installed on my '67 Camaro ls turbo swap.

Was just discussing with a buddy about using loctite on trans cooler fittings for his similar race car, that's a little off topic but it was suggested by a trans guy for his car.

Was just considering putting some blue threadlocker on the threads for the ICT Billet adapter, so thanks ! I shall.

Anything about those dimensions or pictures indicate the ICT would not work ? After measuring it and visually comparing, it seems like it should. ICT only said they hadn't confirmed fitment, but then I see things like this and others that make me think the mount is the same (which also makes sense from a GM parts logistics standpoint).
