I took my 2023 AT4X to the dealership last week to have the injector flow rate update done. When I was there, I made sure I asked if there were any other updates and if so, go ahead and complete them.

I got home and the next day, I get the notice on my screen that N25-F165AN is ready. Cool! I did it and I don't see any difference so far...

I have a similar one made by NOCO. Amazing what those little things can do.
I have a Noco 2 amp, 5 amp, and 10 amp chargers. Also a Noco GBX55 Jump starter and just purchased the Noco Air20. I'm rather loyal to the brand.

Mine tried twice yesterday....and failed. Nice.

I have a 23 trail boss and it hasn't done an update of the infotainment since September of 23. Every time I check if there any updates it says "no new updates available".

this is what mine says every time I check it, connected to home wifi evey day

maybe I need to get my battery charger out of the boat tommorow
I have an Scharder charger but I do not think it will work on the AMG battery's? it is 30 years old

For some reason, I thought there were 2 update areas, one for the truck updates and one for android.
Never saw anything concerning android on the main update screen, but I remember an android setting menu somewhere.
I'm on 12 and the information for it is under system I think

my off-line google maps updated today when I got in the truck

Mine would update maybe twice a month, usually at start up. I still have the data plan that came with my truck.
I actually went into the google map settings and turned that auto feature off, just want to see how long in duration the offline maps are good for. (assuming when they are no longer up to date, I will get -- as the speed)

I saw this thread and got really excited, but at the same time I also thought well my 2023 GMC Canyon Denali will never get an over the air update. 2+ years into ownership and never even hinted at trying to download one.
Well I'm SUPER HAPPY to say that as I pulled into my driveway today (9/3/2025) and placed my truck into park I nearly dropped my phone trying to take a picture of the screen as it said there was an update waiting to be installed!!!! I hit the "install" button and about 5-ish minutes later the update installed successfully. I'm not sure what's new, but I'm just over the moon that my truck actually got an over the air update!

Just curious ... did you ever do the multi-module update at the dealer prior to getting this OTA update?

The update appears to have failed, no sign of it in the 'Installed Updates' like the OP shows and its not coming up if I prompt it.

Wife didn't stick around and wait for it to complete, so maybe something went wrong.

Hopefully it prompts again and I can sit with it until it finishes.

It popped this up next time I started the truck. I guess jumping in and checking the infotainment while the truck is off doesn't do anything with regards to the update functionality.

Sort of an encouragement seeing so many OTA s going through, might actually turn on the update feature.
With it off, I thought I would get a notice, but it would be up to me when to download.

Is there some magic to getting it to retry the update? Tried manually searching for updates in addition to driving longer than 10 minutes.

Doesn't seem to want to bring it up again.

I am guessing, due to other various reports here, its failing due to the battery charge state. I plugged in my charger and it reported charge state is somewhere im 25-50% range.

If this doesnt work after charging I'm going to start to feel irritated.

If only GM engineering could have, I dont know, had it give informative messages about what's going on?

"Update failed due to charge state of battery. Please try the update again after charging the battery or a longer drive."
