let's try this again in the right section, along with the right year mentioned 🙄

over the past weekend, my radio has started to turn off / back on in 60 second intervals. it is consistent now.
it would play for 60, power off and reboot, and play for another 60 seconds. same process over and over. I Have turned the radio off to where I get nothing but a black screen, but the clock shows in the lower right corner. same thing applies, it still powers off every 60 seconds. when it comes back on, it remains on the black screen with the clock. so no matter if it's off / on, same result. Obviously I have turned the car off and on, since then, but nothing changes.

I am really trying to avoid having the dealership getting involved. I did call them today asking if there was anything I can do on my end to maybe reset/reboot, but as expected, they said I needed to schedule an appointment. dammit

is there anything i can do to reset this radio in hopes it will fix the issue?

There have been comments before about fuses not being fully pushed in place from the factory. Lucky for me I have not had your problem with mine, just a touch screen had to be replace. I videoed it messing up and when the tech saw it he knew the solution. Been almost perfect since.
We paid good money for these truck let the dealer fight with it.
Then again I have not had the latest Radio update done yet because when they updated for Fog lights they messed up and had to reflash the system.

I haven't made it back to the dealer for mine. When I try to schedule it, they tell me they need to keep the truck for a few days in order to diagnose and work on it. at that point I then have to get a rental car and it's just a huge pain in the ass. very inconvenient. But I need to get it back there before my warranty runs out :) (10k away)

broke down and went to the dealership yesterday. Had to wait a few hours, but that was better than days.
they did a firmware update and that seemed to fix the issue. i had them drive it around once fixed and Android auto stayed active and worked as it should have. when they got back from the test drive, i had them plug my phone in and it worked as I'd hoped.

We're on day two now and it still works. YESSSSSSS!

Firmware seemed to be the solution.
you would think, that if these vehicles tell us when a system update needs installed (which it does automatically), that there would be an alert saying the firmware also needs to be updated.

I have been checking for update on my 2022 every few months and it never shows any availble. Yes I have the ruck connected to the home WiFi. I know there is one or two updates for the radio but they never turn up. Muy understanding is the infotainment update are not available over the air. Glad to see the dealer update has been successful. What is your update number shown now, in the about section of the radio? Mine shows 807.

I'm having the same issues with freezing, rebooting and volume issues. The update mentioned in the TSB can only be done at the dealer. I have brought my 22 In 2x and didn't work. pretty sure dealer didn't do it right because it still shows build # 808. gonna bring it to a different dealer. Friend of mine same problem same dealer.

Hikesmtns,
All dealer have problem with GM and there internet connectivity. My dealer lost connection in the middle of programing in the fog light. They had to do it twice, while I waited, boring. Then the programing "f"ed up the TPMS and I had to go back and they reprogramed it again. They have waved me off from the infotainment updates for internet connection issues they were having at the time. Independent shops have the problems with GM subscription site as well.

I was having the same issue as the OP with my 2020 ZR2. My radio would constantly reboot and more than half the time would not connect to my Apple CarPlay or it would disconnect from CarPlay. I'm lucky as my friend is now the service manager at the dealership a mile from my house. I showed him the TSB 22-NA-033 and he did the update for me. Radio has been flawless since the update! I was literally close to trading it in because of the radio issue. I was lucky too as my buddy was able to charge Chevy for the update as my truck was out of warranty. so no bill for me......lol.
