It works!! I put a 4.2 throttle body on my 3.5. Takes a couple of wide open runs for the computer to adjust, but it pulls a lil harder on the top end, feels like a lil more tourque.

Thanks for giving that a try. I had thought of it, but didn't want to invest in an extra TB from the 4.2. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust?XHRcustoms said:It works!! if its the same one thats on the I-5 i dont see why it wouldnt.PC112 said:Will it fit an I4?
Wouldn't that affect the way the butterfly seats at idle?Canyon04Z71 said:Couldn't you get that out of porting the TB that is on the I5?
well in that case id get it worked out in about two days driving to work. I guess that would be the only advantage to working across town.XHRcustoms said:it's working kinda strange, the more I drive it the more it re-learns to the increased air flow. I was driving it and watching it on the scanner, and the fist few wide open runs it was on the lean side, but it's slowly richening up. I'd say 30-50 miles of driving it should adapt pretty well.
