Thoughts on Bronze Methods w/ Cyber Gray?

Pretty self explanatory title. I've got a Cyber Gray Canyon SLT, definitely method 17x8.5s in my future. I like the look of the Grids and the Roost in black, but I like doing something a little different than everybody else since black wheels are pretty much the go-to for getting any aftermarket wheels.

I've seen a bunch of Bronze Methods on different trucks that look bad ass, although they are usually on white or black trucks. I'm not sure how they would look on a Cyber Gray, especially with the amount of chrome on the SLT. I plan on painting the chrome window trim and eventually the chrome lower bumper part, but that still leaves the mirrors and the grille with a lot of chrome on it.

Here's an awesome F150 I stumbled across on Google Images that is a color really similar to Cyber Gray:

Any thoughts? Anyone lurking on the forum with bronze wheels and Cyber Gray that already has this?

I have often wondered the same thing. I thought the bronze would look good on our grey trucks, but on all of the various online simulator things, the cyber grey option seemed much lighter than our trucks look in reality. So it was hard to get a good idea of what it would actually look like. And not to stray from the topic to much, but I have seen a few photos of trucks with anodized red Method Race Wheels, which I always thought looked super bad ass. Has anyone seen these available anywhere?

From all my research on Methods (I bought black Roosts for my silver F150 I used to own), you have to get them custom powder coated for any color outside of the standard bronze/black/titanium/polished silver they offer. Don’t quote me on it, but I thiiiiink Method will do that for you if you custom order right from then. I’ve seen several SEMA style Jeeps with crazy color combos, purple, green, light blue, etc., and with matching powder coated methods

Honestly, I think that color would look fantastic on any color truck. I even entertained it on my black for a contrast look. But at the last minute I chickened out and stayed with the all black theme.

I say go for it! It will look stunning.

I’m a little jealous, if I had black it wouldn’t even be a question, I’d do the bronze! Unfortunately was super difficult finding the diesel twin I wanted when I was in the market for it, it was either my cyber gray or a white Z71 Colorado that was more expensive with more miles and less features. I think I’m gonna go for the bronze though!

I think I like the bronze enough to purchase a set. I say think because I’ve never seen a set around here and that’s exactly why I should have bought them. I looked really hard at the Rogue VTX and it may be the rim I go with for my winter set of tires later on this year. Keep us posted. I’m pretty sure the truck would like awesome with them. If not plasti dip em’. It’s cheap and easy to do. ;0

I thought someone said they had our bolt pattern but I haven’t called them to verify that yet.
