How do you adjust the headlight height?

I had my headlight replaced due to moisture, and would rather take care of it myself.

It is easy, try to do a search here. I did mine, and someone ahd some perfect instructions. I believe it was a socket, 5.5mm, and i did half turn.
It is located on the top of the light, look down and try to find anything that can be turned with a socket,. It should be in the middle of the light when you look from above.

It's really simple. the tool needed is a T15 (torx bit) on the top of the gold looking bolt coming up from behind the indicator lights. I just point my truck square at a wall about 20'-25' away and adjust the beams. Turn right to raise and left to lower. At 20'-25' away you want the top of the beam to be about 2"-3" lower than the center of the head lamp lens to get proper light projection.

Ahh.......... I just based it on getting flashed by 2 out of every ten cars..

Well after I cranked the T-bars I had to turn them down, while dringing at night I was able to see everone in there cars giving me the finger.

wow, yall have some pissy drivers where you live. I have gotten flashed once, by a lowered fullsize GMC, after I put in my silverstars. (I've gotten flashed before, but it was because I forgot to switch to low beams) I may have to try that 20' away from a wall thing, cause my truck was about 5' from my garage door when I adjusted them after I put in my clear ones, and they seem like they might be a tad too low (the drivers side doesn't have a whole lot of adjustment in it so I kind of use where it is at as a guideline  )

flashed by 2 of 10.....that's great. When i got my truck iw as flashed by 10 of 10, this is how i knew i must lower it. I guess many people had that issue, of headlights coming little too high from the manufacturer.
i just flash the "wall o light" back they seem to remeber to not flash me  :rofl

People are d*cks. I have mine 4" below center and I still get flashed all the time. Why should it be my fault that my headlights kick as$???

its not *pats on back*

its when i wish i had paintball guns mounted inside my high beams, so when they turned on they automaticly fired rounds at imcoming cars, they wouldnt know what hit them.

If the only person who flashed you was a lowered pickup, I wouldn't worry about adjusting your headlights. Sounds like they're already at the right level. I get the same thing occasionally, only about once a week or so. I just hit my hi-beams (with the 4-light mod) and give them all 4 Silverstars to show them how wrong they are. :D
