Love that slim drawer setup.
Thanks! If I was going to do it again, I'd go an inch taller. Sometimes the tools or flip flops catch when closing/opening the drawers. An extra inch would eliminate that while not significantly impacting sleeping room.

That said, my hunting buddy has the ARB drawers in his 4Runner. Man, it is nice to be able to store ALL the things.

Today, I gave it a bath for the first time in months.

I also kept finding my overhead switches in the passenger seat whenever it got hot. The glue would just melt. So I solved that problem by using a couple of self-tapping screws to secure it in the overhead console.

Last, I "installed" the 3D printed gas cap someone found on Etsy. Fits great and should help keep dust and water out of the gas tank. Sometimes it's the little things.

Got out for deer season opener this past weekend. Originally, there were going to be 5 of us in deer camp but my dad's two friends had things come up and then my brother got sick (not C-19) so it was just my dad and me. I'm stoked that at 82 he still gets out there (just not as far) and that I can still hunt with him. Unfortunately, since last year a bunch of other hunters have found our once secret spot. The good news was that they all went far, far in while we only went a little ways in so we didn't see another hunter the whole weekend. The bad news is that the only deer we saw were does or too far away to give 'em a poke. Oh well, it was still a great weekend with my pops. Oh, and the coyote parties every night, holy sh!te it was insane!! Anyways, pictures:

Muleys. Here in SoCal we don't have blacktails, at least not that I've ever heard of. My dad got a blacktail a few years ago up in NorCal.

Ahhh! I’ve always wanted to chase a NorCal blacky since we have blacktail out here on Kauai... don’t you folks have couse deer down in SoCal too?!
Not quite here in SoCal but just over the border in AZ. A buddy of mine got an archery tag for this year.

Did an oil change (25k miles) and installed the 589Fab Skid Plate Support Bracket. LINK Yes, this picture is from 589's website, I couldn't find my phone lol. Installation was pretty simple, just needed to keep it level and I used a rubber mallet to persuade it to get in place. Impact wrench helped. I wish they had included washers for the longer bolts, had to go to Ace to grab a couple.

Took it tuna fishing. Okay, I left it at the dock but still. Caught my first Bluefin Tuna so it was a great trip. I've caught or speared just about every other kind of fish we find in SoCal waters, but I've always been skunked on BFT so it was nice to finally break that duck.

Hey there, great build! I was wondering if you have a link or part number for your homelink rearview mirror. My wife misses that feature as well. Thanks for sharing your progress!
Thank you. I bought the mirror on eBay, here's a LINK he still has some available. They're not cheap but I wanted plug-n-play and oem.

Did a couple of things today. One isn't done so we'll wait til it's done and I can do a full write-up. But I did complete the free space under the rear seat modification today. You just remove the plastic piece, cut away what you want, and reinstall. I cannot believe how much space I gained. I cut it to maintain the two outer pockets since I use those all the time. After the picture below, I also removed the section which holds the tools you use to lower the spare and operate the jack.

A couple of weekends ago I found a Wilco Hitchgate Solo High-Clearance on OfferUp for $300!! When I asked the guy why he was selling it, he said he had bought it used and it rattled and wobbled and his wife made him sell it. I looked at it and realized the anti-wobble wedge was missing and took it. $50 for the wedge from Wilco and for $350 I had a practically new Hitchgate. I also picked up a FrontRunner drop down table for it and installed everything today after work.

I need to relocate my backup camera and the license plate, I should get to those this weekend. Big thanks to @lurchskii @emulous74 and @gmduran1 for answering my many questions, particularly about the camera relocation. With my neck, turning around is tough so the camera is important for me. I may also move the table over in the mount and add a 1 gallon Rotopax for water for cooking like Emulous74 has done. I'll probably also swap the table mounting hardware to stainless steel.

I do want to say something about Wilco's customer service here. Rather, I want to say something about their lack of customer service. I called three times with questions and left three messages. I did not get a single return call. I sent two emails. One was returned, but after two unhelpful responses they ghosted me and stopped responding. Based on Wilco's lack of customer service and from what I've heard about their customer service, I would recommend if you're buying new, get a Rigd or Dirt Complex Trail Swing.

Today I moved the rearview camera to the same location as Emulous74. I put a little wedge under it to angle it down and it works very well again. It looks a little janky and I'll do something more permanent later, but for now it works.

I also swapped the Squadron Pro fog lights for Squadron Sports which will make them (more) street legal. Anyone need a set of Squadron Pros?

This is what I used to relocate mine on Tatanka - it might serve as a long term solution for you:

That's exactly where I installed my camera as well. Wire ties are still holding up since I installed it there several years ago.🤙
