Like Hunter62, I bought my truck to get me to my hunting spots. I have taken it through some nasty spots gor the last 6 years. Mechanically it is still in excellent shape. There are some scratches in the clear coat and a couple of small dings in the door panels from limbs dragging down the side and sticks flying up as I drove over them. I do take it easy over the really rough stuff and I pressure wash the undersides and engine bay when hunting season is over.

As has been said previously, you can take your truck off road and still take care of it by using common sense. And I get the reluctance to bang up a $65k vehicle. But you could get a Trail Boss for $44k or maybe even a tad less.
