Hello guys I searched but couldn’t find if anyone might now what size wheel spacers would push the stock zr2 wheels/tires to be close to flush with the end of the fender flares? any help is greatly appreciated. I found infor on the z71 but I know the zr2 has wider tires and the flares are wider too.

Stock wheels have a 33mm offset which is about 1.3 inches. Most people are going with a 0 offset for flush with the fenders so 1.25 inch spacer should get you close. I have 0 offset wheels that look close to flush but the side wall pokes out a bit with a 9 wide wheel and 10.5 wide tire. I have a WT but I think all the 15+ wheel offsets are the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: also keep in mind the stock lugs are 1.5 inches long so if you go with anything less then 1.5 inch spacer you will probably have to trim your lugs. If it were me I would go with 1.5 spacers to avoid trimming the stock lugs.

For flush on all 4 corners with stock 265s, you'll want 1.25s on both fronts and driver rear and a .75 on the passenger rear because the bed is offset 1/2". (If you're interested in the offset spacers, I have a .75 and 1.25 in a box). I'm running 285s and have about 1/2" of "poke".

Contrary to the previous response, you don't need to cut the studs for the 1.25s since the ZR2 wheels have a cut out behind them. You definitely need to cut for the .75 though.

What's the max spacer you can run without any additional modification and 285s?

edit: and what about 265's as well please
so, the popular consensus on the ZR2s seem to be 1.5" ON OEM WHEELS and TIRES. No shaving lugs, etc.

Shawn, you are throwing too big a variable in there.
And I'm not going to answer this one.
but c'mon dude, :clueless
Are you in a ZR2 or a regular Colorado? At least put your truck info in your sig!
285 what? there's SO many variables there...

I ran 1.25" on stock wheels. Don't remember rubbing on stock 265/65/17, but I jumped to 265/70/17 almost right away and did get a little rub when turning and with any type of compression on the suspension.

I have since gone to an aftermarket 17x8.5 wheel et 0, so I'd be willing to sell the 1.25" spacers at a good price. PM me if you're interested.

At any point, did you have stock wheels, with spacers, the 589 level kit, and 265/70r17 tires?

If so, did you rub with that setup?
