What happens if you change wheels and dont activate te TPMS?

That is my set current up.. 2 sets of rims, 2 sets of TPMS, + a stop off at my dealer to use the tool, so far they never charged me. (I might run a week or 2 with the light on before I have a chance to drop by the dealer)
I had the same set up on my 2010, but at least I didn't need the tool to reprogram my tire swap.
On my jeep, I have only 1 set of TPMS, so the idiot light flashes during the winter.
