Finally fixing a temp sensor and having a flush done on my transmission. Question though about the fluid. I know a lot of guys say use the mobile 1 blue label HP atf. The Chevy dealership told me they would use a GM a fluid (19417577 Synthetic LV) is what they provided me when I got the quote, and my local mechanic is saying he uses Valvoline HP ATF. I’m using the local guy In this case for my fix and flush but should I ask him to use the mobile 1 blue label? I’m not getting much from the GM number Chevy gave me other than it bring me to mobile 1 lol. I asked the guy at the dealership if it was mobile 1 and he told me no they use a GM fluid? Idk just a bit confused as to what to use lol. Thank you!
