Trans temp too hot?

176 trans temp is not bad at all. By the pic looks like you where in 6th gear at 1600-1700 rpm on the tach at 64 mph. Dropping to 5th gear might cool it down some and cut down on the back and forth transmission shifting I am sure it did on any little hill. Maybe even try 4th gear some just to see how it does. The higher RPM's will just hurt gas mileage some or maybe alot.LOL But that tranny temp is not bad at all. On a side note how did the truck do pulling the car and what kind of gas mileage did get on the trip?
