I have 2 sets of rims/tires for mine, winters installed at purchase by the dealer. ( Must be gm tpms ) When swapping to summer, I just set the truck to relearn and drove, it all synchronize to the original rims ( no tool required )
Will be going back to my winter set soon, I expect the same easy process.
I do have the tool from my gen2 if I need it, will report if things go differently.

I want to say its in the vehicle tire pressure page, but I may be wrong.
Will find it soon enough if my back holds out. Tires and rims have become a heavier swap, might look at those tire jacks to help with the install.
