2026 Chevy Colorado Production Start Moved To This Date

 

Just about 1.5 months since the 2026 models went into production, and still no build sites available… 😒🙄

 

It has taken much longer in past

 

It was at least March before the 2025 configurator was live when production started in December.

 

Hey all...looks like the GMC Canyon 2026 configurator has gone live now. (finally) but I am not seeing it for the Colorado yet, which is strange.

You can find 2026 models available all over the place now. No big changes, but there are new wheel options so there's that lol.

 

I am shocked that the AT4X lift kit is an additional 1.5” of lift over a standard AT4X…

 

The AT4X already comes with a factory 3 inch lift sp with the addition 1.5 inch lift that makes it 4.5 inches of factory/dealer lift all under warranty! Dang you may be able to fit 37s ok at least 36s under that!

 

The Canyon 2026 configurator is on-line. Haven't seen the Colorado yet, but it was behind the Canyon in 2025 as well.

Yes, it is a nice build and buy feature but if I am spending over 55K, I am going to try get exactly what I can get.

I think you will be disappointed trying to go outside the configurator but I wish you luck. When I ordered one earlier this year they told me to configure it online and then send them the link with the code that gets created. It's apparently what they use as well. Here is the fleet order guide which shows what packages and options can be ordered with the different models:

I cannot even add a sport bar to a ZR2 without getting an error message.
I also tried to click on the "Midnight edition" and got the same error message so this think is not working.
I know there are many great options available and I have already seen new ZR2 sshipped with the sport bars on them.
Yes, they are available and the "build and buy" configuration needs some work.
