2015 Colorado heated seats are slow to warm. Sat in my friend's 2017 and seats are on fire in a couple of minutes. Where do I begin to trouble shoot this.

Welcome to the forum. Try doing a search because there was a long thread some time ago and the issues were exactly as you describe.

Yes I recall the problem being 2015 only. Mine is also a 2016 and the seats heat up fast.

Being that both part numbers start with 232, it does seem likely that the higher number will be the new one. The current ones certainly get as hot as anyone could want within 5 minutes and eventually hot enough that you have to turn them down so if yours aren't like that, something is wrong for sure.
