I don't know about their mats, but I know their off road recovery gear, straps, tree savers, etc. are low quality.

Obviously different things and application, so the mats might be just fine, but I just know their recovery gear.

They primarily make Jeep-related crap, and generally their like products are lower priced, and as KMW saw with his recovery gear, LOWer quality

 

Imo they looks less useful than WT or Husky. The sides don't go up as far it appears which leads to less function to capture and debris and water on the mats without it going over the sides. Also the holes for the clips on the driver mat are left open. So overall it looks like they have a lot less protection than others.
I personally don't like the design of the 'tread' either and that's quite the hefty price tag. Look ugly.

 

I had their mats and side steps on my last jeep and they both held up well after 4 years of use. I only paid less than 50 bucks for the front set IIRC so that price shown is crazy high. The mats where stiff and not very flexible and tread was a bit slippery with wet shoes. The passenger side did hold a full gallon of spilled milk once...ha I'm glad that my Z came with all weather rubber mats.

 

I saw a vid on them where some guy drained around 4-6 cups of water without it spilling over. Some other guy posted they smelled really bad.
The price does seem to steep, i guess i will try out the husky liners, them seem to be made really well and have read some great reviews.

 

Get the OEM liners, the are way better than both the Weathertech and Husky. I've owned both and I like the OEM's better

 

IMO Rugged Ridge is a knock off brand. While thats not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you need, I don't see how they could be "better" than the brands they knock off...WeatherTech, Husky, etc.

It's floor liners, not like your life is going to depend on them so get whats cheapest. If they suck in fit, then I doubt it'd be anything you couldn't "fix" with a heat gun

I just bought the Chevrolet Premium All-Weather mats, they fit great (obviously). Ordered them on Tuesday, they were here Wednesday, seems Chevy has local dealers ship them out, so go mine from the dealer 20 miles away, hence the fast shipping time. Also you can go pick them up and save on shipping...Chevy has 15% discount running right now too.

I'm much happier with them then the Husky X-act Contour I had just bought. Those would have been great mats, but Husky has a raised platform on the drivers mat for your throttle foot and it actually cause a problem for me with getting a comfortable position with my 11.5 size foot on the throttle. I'm sure the logic behind this was to keep your heal out of the crap the mat collects, but because of the size of my foot, even in sneakers, it was very uncomfortable finding a good throttle position for my foot.

The Chevy mats may not be quite as nice as the Husky's but close, and seem very durable..fairly certain they'll do a great job keeping salt filled snow, slush, mud, dirt, etc off of my carpets!
