During a long trip this week, we listened to an audiobook for a number of hours. After a fuel stop, as I turned the book back on, my audio volume stuck at about 25%. I switched to other sources to check but it was stuck on all. There is a sliding scale that appears on the left side of the screen when you use the steering wheel volume control, and it had a line that appeared to be the volume indicator even though the slide went up and down when the volume knob was turned. Nothing seemed to correct the issue. The last thing I tried was to pull over and turn the truck completely off and pull the key. Waited a couple of minutes. Restarted. All was back to normal. It did not reoccur.
But for this, the truck was perfect during the trip. Has anyone ever had this issue or know what may have happened?
