1 ) go through your menus in settings, its an option that has to be turned on
2) if on and still not displayed (square with -- ) download offline maps for the stock google maps (wifi connection may be needed)

 

The speed displayed isn't going to be the posted limits. It's the google known speed limits. Our trucks get the info via data, not via camera. It's something to keep in mind if a limit gets changed (happened here recently) that your truck may not give you the right info.

 

Google does a pretty good job of correcting itself.
When I get off our highway and head to the overpass (city street) my speed indicated 90kph (55mph), now it shows 60 (40mph) the normal city street speed.
Same for a few sectors within the city (they slowed down the posted speed in several areas)
In any case, its a quick reminder, not to be 100% followed

Good for you, if the [--] appears as the speed, then the offline maps need to downloaded again.
