I have a great Snug Top Tonue cover and I'm tired of my 12in sub box taking my one of my back seats. Has anyone ported there own truck bed on this site? I was hoping for a walk through, but oh well. Are there any reasons not to do this??
This is what we used to make a passage from the bed of the truck to the inside. Cut out the sheet metal in a rear window shape in the front of the bed and then cut out the back of the cab the same size. Then you use the camper boot seal to connect and make a water tight pass through. You only cut out enough metal to make room for the ports and wiring. Just make sure to make the corners round so that the boot seals properly. This is the same material they use to connect the front window of the camper shell to the rear window in the truck.
