I'm struggling a bit to understand their claim of 450HP. They are basically using the same Edelbrock kit with the only difference appearing to be a larger reservoir tank. The instructions provided says to obtain the tune from Edelbrock as well so that is not changed - same tune. If a stock v6 makes 308 HP crank and Edelbrock says 24% gains that is 382HP only. Generally a SC should add closer to 50% and make that 450HP. Edelbrock however also states 345 RWHP which assuming drivetrain loss of 15-20% ( ya I know this is not real math ) is 405-430HP at crank. Am I missing something?
Does anyone have this kit installed and also have a before/after dyno to share? Lingenfelters published dyno shows 370WHP/321WTQ with stock at what looks like 260WHP/240WTQ. I know the torque gains are whats going to matter more with the HP gains being at higher RPM. Malletts torque gains do look better but costs more.
