Because of the new steering knuckles being larger and would make contact with wheels. 1”&1/2 spacers will likely move the wheels out enough to clear knuckle

 

Dang. I have 1.25 spacers.

 

1.25 will work as 0 off-set wheels are 1.3 and I believe a +15 and a +24 will fit with no issues...

oem is +33

 

Might work but will be super close.

 

Are there any 4 or 5" lifts that work with factory wheels. My wheels are the 17x8 ZR2 wheels with 1.25" BORA spacers.

most any of the lifts will work with your wheels and spacers, which is the same as going with 0 off-set wheels

 

I installed a "ReadyLift 3.5" and for the money it is great. I had no issues with stock rims and 265/70 tires.

 

Yeah but you lose 4hi. Why do Z71 owners use the ready lift when it says no 4Hi? Man id love to hear your response

I read a thread on this site a while back about the CV angle and bump stop being an issue. So you're probably right.

Well, i like my ZR2 wheels. If i have to get new wheels for a lift, that is what i will do.
