Just because it came with it. Do you really think you need to use it?

 

The Molex Mx150s are ****. I am pretty sure wire nuts are more reliable.

I highly reccomend DT style connectors simply because they are readily available and easy to work with. They are a very simple very rugged design. I also reccomend barrel style crimps because they are superior with less wire pull.

I would avoid weather pack. They are kinda trash tier and exist mostly because people can put them together using a pliers (but not well). You should be spending over $100 on a crimp tool and if you’re not you’re doing it wrong.

 

or, if you want to be super practical you can just buy the pins. Won't break if you don't take it off again!

 

Just out of curiosity, are there 4 or 2 prongs left on the connector? OEM Tail light harness uses a 6 pin connector, but only has 4 wires running through it.
