To answer your question No

You would need to buy ones with a built in resistor.
Since the System is set up for Halogen Lights
The BCM (the Computer) is looking for the voltage as Halogen uses

LasFit Leds have the Built in Resistors

 

IM real lucky with my 2016 NO LED period just the ORM stuff

 

I think the LasFit bulbs are what I had in the Wrangler, though since it was a dual 'filament' it wouldn't work for the Colorado. I may order a set w/ the internal resistors and see how they work out. I really hate the halogen bulbs - IMHO these should come w/ LEDs in all locations.

 

LasFit supposedly came back out with a new version of there Tail light bulbs... The D Series if I recall correctly

Well, I ordered 2 sets of red LEDs and a set of license plate bulbs from Morimoto. I'll update this thread when they come in and I can get them installed.

 

While you are there, I'd recommend doing the back up bulbs too. Made a huge difference in visibility when backing up at night. Do it all when you have the light off.

 

I swapped out the tail light units for these. Built-in resistors. No wiring; just plug in and go.

Okay. Just going by memory, I thought I had read the rears weren’t LEDS, but I could have sworn I read yesterday the 2026 Canyon AT4 had rear LEDS? Maybe something new for 2026?

 

Tail lights are. Brake, reverse, and turn are not

 

Lasfit D Series have the CBus resistors built in and won’t throw any codes. I have both the tail light and turn signal with zero issues. I had the moto LED before these and they work too. But I switched to the Lasfits. They’re a little brighter. The pic is the Lasfits. They may look a little darker in the pic because I have a dark smoke tint on my tail lights.
