LED Brake Light Bulbs

I hate asking questions that have been beaten to death, but I looked through 5 pages in this forum and didn't see anything, so...

Is there an LED bulb that works for the rear turn signals and brake lights that doesn't signal a code? And when I ask this, I mean one that does NOT need a resistor added to the circuit? I do not want to cut wires and add resistors. I had a nice setup on my '22 Wrangler that never triggered a bulb-out fault, and was wondering if there were any that worked on the G3 Colorado.

To answer your question No

You would need to buy ones with a built in resistor.
Since the System is set up for Halogen Lights
The BCM (the Computer) is looking for the voltage as Halogen uses

LasFit Leds have the Built in Resistors

Check out Boost's build thread. All the parts are listed there with links. I'm running to a meeting. Got the morimotos. No codes, no issues and work great.

While you are there, I'd recommend doing the back up bulbs too. Made a huge difference in visibility when backing up at night. Do it all when you have the light off.

Lasfit D Series have the CBus resistors built in and won’t throw any codes. I have both the tail light and turn signal with zero issues. I had the moto LED before these and they work too. But I switched to the Lasfits. They’re a little brighter. The pic is the Lasfits. They may look a little darker in the pic because I have a dark smoke tint on my tail lights.
