Keyless Ignition

Keyless start is great for women who loose keys in purse and anyone who has a handful of stuff in their hands when they approach the door .

Same reason my wife loves Bluetooth phone: she doesn'the have to dig phone out of purse .

Nobody is saying they should add the feature for free. We just want them to actually offer it as an option and I am guessing most of us would be more than willing to pay the extra couple hundred bucks for it. We are not sitting around with our pitch forks and our welfare checks demanding that they throw it in for free. I am not saying the type doesn't exist, but I can say I am not one of those types and I am guessing that most of the members on this forum are not either and don't really appreciate being grouped into that category for unfounded reasons. There is a difference between feeling entitled to something and desiring to have the option to purchase something.
EDIT: OOPS, I got this thread confused with the Windshield Washer Level. Please ignore me and continue on with your arguments.

I'd love to see them implement a full keyless setup in these trucks when the diesel gets here. After owning the Regal GS for a while I've completely forgotten how much I got tired of changing the seats and mirrors between the wife and I. The Regal automatically remembers the last seating/mirror positions associated with the keyfob used. So when I get in the car with my key the seats and mirrors are already readjusting before I even sit down. When the wife goes to use the car they readjust for her. Even better not having to ever pull the keys out of my pocket. Just get in and press go. Turn it off, walk away and everything locks back up.

Effing fantastic....
First, I had a Tahoe that you could program the seats/mirrors for two individual drivers. Push a button on the door before you entered, and it would re-position everything. I loved it, and wish I had it in my wife's Camaro. I would never have expected it in my Wrangler, everything is manual on it. Wish that was an option on the Canyon - would make sense as the Canyon is supposed to be upscale. However, most of the systems on these trucks are pretty much the same across the board, just window dressing between the Colorado & Canyon except for the DIC, to some degree, not that much different up & down the line on the trim levels.

With your Buick, if both you & your wife were getting in the car, how did it know which one was driving and which one was riding shotgun?

I have this vision of me going to pick up my wife, she get's in my truck, and suddenly the seat starts moving forward to re-set for her and breaks both of my kneecaps against the underside of the dash.

Perfect fodder for a U-Tube movie ala Laurel & Hardy style.

You guys still haven't sold me on the keyless ignition. but if the trucks had it, I would not cancel my order. Does that make you feel better?

Heck, by the time my truck arrives, the FOB may need new batteries.
