How does and ATV fit into a Short Bed?

I'm close to ordering and often haul an ATV around. Its not a huge one but would like to see how it will fit into a Short Bed.

I have a 2007 Honda rancher that is roughly 45" inches wide and 74" long. It fit into my 97 Silverado ext cab with a standard bed WITH the tail gate up. My 2011 Crew Cab SB has to have the tail gate down but I still end up with room for a cooler between the ATV and the front of the bed.

Anyone have any pics of their QUADs in the back of a Short Box? (sorry buy motocross bikes don't help unless I know how long they are).

TIA

It's a tight fit, especially with my 26" tires. The bike is a Rancher, the front tires are 10" wide and I have to use 4X4 to squeeze the front tires between the wheel wells, otherwise the back tires just spin.

My quads fit with the rear tires right in the crack of the tailgate and bed with the gate down. I'm sure your's will be similar.

The part that would worry me is the width. It sucks having to go over the wheels wells. Just measure the width at your front tires. You might have to build some kind of ramp to get over the wheel wells. It sucks but not the end of the world.

this is the only pic I could find.
