My garage door is set for 79", which gives me 3" to spare. I have a lightbar, and my antenna is cut down to about 3" (or about 1/2" taller than my lightbar)

 

Thanks XCanuk. So it sounds like I would fit in a 75 inch garage if the antenna is removed/unscrewed.

 

Most owners go with a stubby which is 2" and fit in most standard garages. You can alway raise the lift opening of the door itself.
When in doubt, have a spotter for the first time in.

 

I used this to make mine fit in the garage and my am/fm reception hasn't been affected.

Hope this helps a little. This is with the 3in Stubby on my 24 ZR2. I had the same question before I bought mine and the dealer took pics so I could make sure it fit in my garage.

I see a discrepancy....Chev.ca states the height is 81.8" for a '24 ZR2
....that photo show quite a bit less

After reading again...that photo is with a shorty antenna......so it would seem the published 'overall height' includes the antenna....seeing as how that antenna looks to be at about 78.6".

If the on-line height is only to roof height and there is also the antenna base.....it might not fit even with the antenna removed....and without fitting in the garage I would only have street parking to fight for....not acceptable
