I have a 2024 Colorado Z-71, just purchased looking to install a heated steering wheel. I checked my fuse box and in position F32 is a 7.5 amp fuse, I also removed the steering wheel and looked for a plug which was unattached, but no joy. is there a way to install a heated steering wheel and does anyone know what the 7.5 amp fuse is for if not the heated steering wheel, thx.

Someone did this on a 2nd gen truck on this forum. If you find that, there may some helpful information.

Anything like that is going to be a nightmare. Best to have gotten it from the factory that way. TOTALLY not worth it IMO.

I do not think it would be that bad. I have already accomplished the retrofit on my Ford F-150 XLT, which required me to wire and access my BCM and activate the heated steering wheel option. On the F-150 site someone had accomplished the task and provided info to all that want to do it themselves. I was hoping for the same assistance on this site. Thank you for your input though.
